This is a continuation from the KAWASAN FALLS TRIP. We left Kawasan at 4PM. We headed to Lambug beach, a public beach in Badian. Back to the main street/highway, we walked the kilometer-trail once again. When we got to the main street, Kuya Kingkong got us a tricycle, the driver was his cousin. We got lots of load, you see.
It was a long way to Lambug. It will take about 30-45 minutes. By the time we reached the place, locals immediately came near us and asked if we were going to stay for the night. And we answered them politely, we said YES. They asked if we would rent rooms or if we are bringing tents, we said we were bringing tents of our own. They offered us to stay in their place and pay Php200 for the space where we'll build our tents on. We thought it was too expensive. We got our bags from the tricycle and searched for more options.
Once you're in Lambug, you can actually choose to go left or right. It's a long spread of white-sand resorts anyways. But we decided to go right.
We asked 3 more resorts about the price we'll pay for tent spaces but they gave us the same amount. We didn't stop 'til we reach the last resort on the right. That was 3 more resorts after GRANDEUR (the most popular resort there).
A man faced us. His name was Kuya Nicnic. He was quite in a hurry but we asked him if we could stay at the front of that resort. And he said 'Yes'. He offered the lowest price, Php100/for each tent. We accepted the deal. We paid him. And he was too kind, he let us borrow his iron grill, two lantays (bed or chair made of wood) and a cooking pot (incase we'll cook rice).
After giving us his things, he left. And we assembled our camping tents.
After building our temporary little houses, we witnessed the Badian sunset. How beautiful was it? You judge.
We really had too many pics. Peace.
Pretty sure Chrije and Marco enjoyed too :)
Just when the sun completely set, we prepared our dinner. I got our trapal so we could just lay around :)
After dinner, we went stargazing, had some good drinks and funny talks!
What happens in Badian, stays in Badian :P
We slept at 2am but Badz and I woke up early, 6am.
We glad we were up! Early birds catches the jaw-dropping sunrise view!
Patpat was already awake. Badz and I went swimming first. By the time we get back to the shore, everyone was up.
To the beach, ATTACK! :D
After the swim, we ate our breakfast. All pork since yesterday!
After eating, we rinsed. There were available restrooms on the residential houses about 6-10meters away from our tents. Locals charged us with Php20.00 inclusive of the water we used.
All in all, the Badian trip was awesome! We thought it wouldn't be from the start because we were only 6 but eventually, it worked out. Everyone shares the same interest and that is what's important!
'Til next trip guys!
