What am I looking for?
"Someone real. Someone who never has to pretend, and who I never have to pretend around. Someone who's smart, but knows how to laugh at himself. Someone who would listen to a symphony and start to cry, because he understands that music can be too big for words. Someone who knows me better that I know myself. Someone I want to talk to first thing in the morning and last thing at night. Someone I feel like I've known my whole life, even if I haven't."
I finally found that someone. It's been more than a year actually.
I'm sorry for the long wait but here it is :)
We've been wanting to go out of the city. So we really spent time searching for ideal places to go and how to get there. And we finally decided. HERE!
Yup! It's the famous Gibitngil Island in Medellin a.k.a. FUNtastic Island. It just got our interest the most.
At about 6am of September 27, Badz still had to get me from work so we'll head to Cebu's North Bus Terminal together. At 7am, we are already on the bus to Medellin.
It took about 3-4 hours to reach that little port where the pump boats that brings you to the island are located. But we needed to buy food for lunch, dinner and for the next morning. So Badz and I went to their public market to buy some. The market's not too far, we only had to go by a pedicab.
We bought fried chicken and lechon manok. Just the amount we think we can survive with 'til the next morning.
Right after that, we went back to the port and head right away to Gibitngil Island.
We only have two choices: big boat (max capacity of 15 people) or small boat (max capacity of 6 people). We decided to take just the small one since there was just the two of us and our things (which occupied more space haha).
We took turns taking pictures.
And again, SELFIEEEE!
Just after 15 minutes, we have reached the island.
First things first, Badz pulled out and assembled the tent (Thankyou Ate Jaisel for lending this).
BTW, here are some beautiful sceneries you can see around.
And right after our shelter was built, we ate. It's been 4-5 hungry hours. Ughhh :'(
We had our tent on the side since all cottages are still occupied and their tents have been rented as well.
After our tummies have been filled, we changed clothes and plunged in the wide sea. Not much pictures 'coz we were wet HAHHAHA. #sorrynotsorry
We found some weird sea creature and blue corals that really made me happy.
At about 3pm, people who occupied the cottages were going home. So, we were able to rent one of those they've previously used. We moved our things and the tent to the cottage.
We've been swimming so we rested and drink C2? Nope. That's Empe Light in the C2 bottle haha ;)
Hi babe! Looking so gorgeous!
We got beautiful sunset pictures too <3
And here's us during the night. Couple shirting haha.
There was a strong wind at 12am. And it's just so cold being in the open cottage above the sea.
Here's the raw-est pictures that happened to be my favorites.
MORNINGS IN GIBITNGIL. Aaahhh <3
AND, THIS IS THE BEST <3 To more adventures with you babe! :)
Because “The best gift you can give your partner is a lifetime full of adventures”.
'Til next time ;)
